Emily is an award-winning Maltese-Australian artist from Brisbane (Quandamooka country) with a critical interest in the political forces of consumer culture that shape our lived experiences. Working across installation, sculpture, weaving and embroidery, she explores the complex relationship between waste colonialism, feminine identity and western value systems.
