Emily is an award-winning Maltese-Australian artist working across soft sculpture, weaving and installation. She uses thread, fabric and secondhand clothing to explore and problematise assumptions related to identity politics, post-feminism and western value systems. She is based in the Moreton Bay Region (QLD) on unceded land of the Turrbal peoples.
